The Indian premier League(IPL) is an Indian T20 cricket league contested every year by eight teams representing eight cities in India and is most watched Cricket league in the world.

History:
BCCI announced the launch of T20 cricket league called Indian Premier League on 13 September 2007 and it's first season was slated to start in April 2008.
